To be held on May 11-13, the Sydney Para Equestrian event will be the final opportunity for National Squad riders to qualify for the London Paralympics
The event will be held at the Sydney International Equestrian Centre. National Performance director, Julia Battams, is keen to encourage as many spectators as possible to the Main Arena in order to attempt to replicate a little of the atmosphere to be expected in London.
The FEI Team tests for each grade will be ridden on Friday 11th May, the FEI Championship tests will be held on Saturday 12th May, and the FEI Freestyles on Sunday 13th May. Additional tests at Preparatory and Preliminary level (including a freetyle) have also been added to the program to encourage participation. The competition is open to all riders who hold a current EA or FEI PE Card, and who are members of EA.
